The Brentwood Emergency Medical Service was founded in 1977 by seven
volunteer firemen in cooperation with Mayor William J. Tepsic. The
E.M.S. is an all volunteer service and consists of fifty members.
The members are Emergency Medical Technicians, Paramedics and First
Aid personnel, and they operate two Advanced Life Support ambulances
with a paramedic response vehicle twenty-four hours a day and is located
in the Brentwood Municipal Building.
A subscription program is conducted yearly by the organization to
raise revenues to purchase equipment and to provide continuing education
of the volunteer members. As an all volunteer service, no funds are
spent on salaries of personnel. The E.M.S. places great value on the
funds donated and uses these funds for equipment and education and
to help them to remain an all volunteer service.
During 1990, Brentwood E.M.S. has begun a new recruiting program to
increase the number of volunteers in their organization. They are
looking for dedicated individuals who are willing to volunteer and
attain the required training to become a Part of the E.M.S.
Your Yearly
Contribution to the Brentwood E.M.S. Is Vital For Our Continued Service
